Privacy policy
Last updated 2026. This site does not sell data, run advertising pixels or build a profile of you. The short version is below; the detail follows.
This policy explains what happens to information you give us through this website, which is peddlerkicks.com, run by Peddler Kicks in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Ordering happens over Instagram, not on this site. That distinction matters for most of what follows: this site has no account system, no checkout and no payment form, so the information it holds about you is deliberately thin.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to give us.
- Messages. If you email us or message us on Instagram, we hold the content of that conversation, your display name and the contact address you use. This is held by Instagram or by your email provider, not by this website.
- Delivery details. If we send a pair to you, we hold the name, phone number and address you give us in the chat, plus the tracking number and the delivery charge. We ask for these in the Instagram chat or over email, not on this website.
- Consent choices. Your answer in the cookie banner is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
- Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, may record an IP address, browser type and page requested in order to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
- What we do not collect. No name, address, phone number, payment card or delivery address is requested by this website, because there is no form here that asks for one.
2. How we use your information
- To answer your message and arrange a collection or delivery if you buy something.
- To keep a record of what was agreed for a sale, so both sides remember the same thing.
- To pass your name, phone number and address to a courier so a pair can reach you, and to keep you updated on the tracking number.
- To keep this site running and to block abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate and only with your consent, which pages are useful.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone for that purpose.
4. Third-party services
Three services outside our control are involved when you use this site, plus the courier if we are sending you a pair.
- Instagram (Meta)
- Our profile, our photos and our direct messages live on Instagram. When you tap an order or contact button here, your phone opens Instagram and Instagram applies its own privacy policy and data practices from that point on. Read it at privacy.instagram.com. Note that simply viewing our profile means Instagram is already handling your data; linking to us does not change that.
- Courier partners
- To deliver a pair we pass your name, phone number and delivery address to whichever courier we are using for your district: NCM Express, Pathao Courier, Delhivery, Best Express or SAGA Cargo. They use it to deliver and to contact you about the parcel. Their own privacy policies apply from that point on.
- Cloudflare Pages (hosting)
- This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and request time in order to deliver pages, cache them and apply security measures. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts (typeface)
- The site's typeface is requested from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see your IP address when the page loads. If you would rather they did not, a content blocker or an offline copy of the font will both work.
6. How long we keep it
- Consent choice: stored on your device until you clear it. Nothing is kept on our side.
- Messages and order records: kept only as long as needed to deal with the sale and answer any question about it afterwards, then deleted. Delivery addresses go to the courier as part of the delivery and are held by them under their own policy.
- Hosting logs: kept for as short a period as the provider's security policy allows, typically weeks rather than years.
7. Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete what we hold, unless we need to keep it for a legitimate reason such as a sale record.
- Withdraw consent for analytics, using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Send the request to the email address in section 11. We will not treat you differently for making one.
8. Children's privacy
This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Buying a pair of shoes from us involves agreeing a price and either a collection or a delivery address, which means dealing with an adult. If you believe a child has given us information, message us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. It runs no user accounts and stores no payment details, so the most sensitive data we hold is the conversation with you. That data sits with Instagram or your email provider, and its security is their responsibility as much as ours.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send us anything in a message that you would be upset to see quoted back.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the revised version appears on this page. Anything material will be announced on Instagram. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
